This triangle sounds like a $500 triangle. The amount of overtones that you can get out of this triangle is amazing. The most amazing part is the price for the quality. Also, the overtones last for a long time, longer than many other triangles. This is a great general purpose triangle, I will be using it a lot. Sounds like a million bucks!!!!!!!!!

At the university I attend everyone (including the percussion professor) has always used and recommended the Abel triangles, but I bought this since I needed several different triangle sounds. Honestly, I will say that I like this triangle better than the Abel series. It offers many more unique sounds, has a plethora of great overtones and is priced very well for how good it is.
It's versatile (good for marches, symphonic pieces, small ensembles, etc.), has many different striking points that all offer unique yet still very clear and re-creatable sounds, and looks great as well.
Highly recommended for a first triangle, or even a fifth one. More people should start using this model.
