Love this tambourine. It has brilliant jingles - combination jingles and is perfect for our wind ensemble. Easy to hold, fine thumb rolls, tight skin. THANKS STEVE WEISS

This tambourine was a birthday gift for my percussionist son. I love ordering from Steve Weiss Music. The site is easy to use with good descriptions of each product. My son plays in a community orchestra, and he says that this tambourine is perfect. And the carry case was included!

my son loves the tambourine, however it looks like it may have a hairline crack in the wood. Both Steve Weiss and Black Swamp have been great to work with in getting this resolved and replaced very quickly. We will absolutely be a repeat customer.

I love my tambourine already. It's responsive and sounds very nice. My instructor suggested this tambourine as my first pro level and I can see why; versatility.

I love my black swamp tambourine that I purchased. The only problem I have is that I have heard from a few different people -and I have also experienced- problems with the heads breaking. For those that like to hit the tambourine a little harder then they should this is not a good product to be purchasing. That is unless you want to keep purchasing replacement heads (at $15 a pop) and taking time out of your day to replace the heads.
