I did the research, love the sound of the German silver jingles. A bit disappointed to find that the skin of the tambourine has a slight imperfection in it- about the size of my little fingernail. Better quality control needed perhaps? I'll be avoiding that spot just in case it is a point of weakness.
This is an absolutely great sounding tambourine. The German silver jingles really makes this instrument standout in timbre. The construction of this 10" tambourine is top-notch...solid, yet light in the hand. Just the right balance for the many methods of play required in the repertoire.
