This cymbal cradle/stand is perfect for those groups that don't have $$ to spend. It also folds up to not much larger than a snare drum stand. Perfect for those who travel or need to store their stuff. I have used this stand for years with my high school band and just bought another one for a community band I play in.
I purchased the Gibraltar crash cymbal stand for the Lake Wobegon Brass Band from Minneapolis. We tour a lot and this stand is perfect for our needs. It is compact, sturdy, and protects the cymbals in their holder. A great value for the quality!
The Gibraltar 7614 performs as advertised. The first one I received had a small amount of rust under the clear plastic tubing that covers the cradle. Gibraltar, via SWM, promptly sent a replacement. This is a sturdy, well-made stand at an affordable price.
I love the stand and arms. They work great. I'm using them right now in a pit where room is very tight. I can adjust the arms to stay in tight and it is still very stable. They only negative is that the black end caps keep falling off. They are just pressed on. They should be glued or something. Great product. Definitely worth the price.
