I used this mount to put a cowbell on a Pearl marching snare. Easy on / off, and if you mount it 90 degrees around the drum from the harness base it'll fit comfortably in a cube snare case. After a month of heavy use I haven't had to re-tighten the mount on the tension posts, and it's held up very well. I'm extremely satisfied. Be aware that the mount does NOT come with an eye bolt for mounting a cowbell / tambourine / etc. onto it, you need to have your own hardware capable of mounting onto a 3/8 post.
