This kit was recommended by my son's band teacher. It was nice to be able to purchase everything at once in a convenient carrying pouch. Everything is of good quality, and the price was reasonable.

I have all of my middle school percussionists purchase this pre-pack. It is perfect for all their needs as young musicians and also gets them in the mindset of owning a variety of sticks and mallets. The stick bag is big enough for them to add to their collection as they continue to high school. It is also very affordable.

Best deal I've found for beginning percussionists!

I've been teaching band classes for seven years, and I've had my beginners purchase this pack for the last four. I can't praise it enough! Kids who don't stick with band won't waste a lot of money on a kit they'll never use again, but the items included are high enough quality that they'll last a dedicated student for years. In particular I've been very happy with how well the marimba mallets have held up. My kids use them every day, and even after two or three years they still look great and sound like new. Thank you to everyone at Steve Weiss. My band parents really appreciate how easy you make it for them to get what they need without breaking the bank!

I have all of my beginning band students purchase this pre-pack!! It's inexpensive and it has everything they will need for their first year in band!! I highly recommend it for any beginning percussionist who is uncertain if they will be continuing their music education after the first year!

This pre-pack was a wonderful find for my middle school students. The sticks and mallets are good quality and the price is excellent.

These sticks and mallets are exactly what the band director asked for and of better quality than the ones from our local music store (and about $60 cheaper!). So glad I found this site and will definitely order from here again if my son continues on with band.

This is a great starter kit for beginning percussion students. It is light to carry around and great quality for the money. The same kit cost twice and three times a much on other sites. Thanks Steve Weiss.

These are good. They were hard enough and they did produce enough sound. They are worth the money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
