Great sticks but I wish Cooperman was still making the sticks from persimmon wood. Also I would buy more Cooperman products but they seem to be always out of stock of the things I want.

Amazing sticks! Perfect, balanced weight. Highly recommend to any serious snare drummer. My only problem with them is they're not the best to roll with compared to other sticks I've used. Other than that they are great!

I bought these sticks over a year ago, and I have used them for everything ranging from orchestral percussion to rudimental solos. These sticks are very well balanced and produce a very clear sound. This is a very versatile product and I would recommend them to anybody who is looking to buy their first pair of Cooperman sticks. I believe they are a bit lighter than the Graham C. Johns #1, but I am not 100% sure. Overall, a great product and my go-to stick.

I purchased the Nick Petrella drumsticks as a Christmas gift for my nephew on the recommendation of his percussion teacher, and am glad that I did!! As a retired instrumental music teacher, I have seen many of the cheaper "student sticks" available. I played around with the sticks just a bit before wrapping them, and they do indeed have a really balanced sound. (Having read online that they are selected by their matching weight and pitch, I was hoping they would match color-wise as well, and they did. I guess part of me still likes that "totally balanced look," even though I know it's not what's important!) Anyway, I ordered the sticks very close to Christmas time, and they arrived within a couple of days--earlier than promised--and were packaged very carefully. I couldn't be more pleased... not could my nephew, who couldn't wait to take them in for his first Wind Ensemble rehearsal of the new year! Thanks to the Steve Weiss Music store. I look forward to shopping with you again in the future.

These sticks are the perfect snare stick. their touch and feel can create a range of dynamics and sounds, and their weight gives it a good feel in my hand. i love them.

Nick Petrella Cooperman sticks are very light and allow for rudimental playing as well as concert style. This is a great all around stick that will last a long time.
