As tension rods go, I have to say this replacement part is head and shoulders above the competition. In fact the competition seems to have dissolved away. The length is true to specification and the threads match up perfectly to the lugs they were designed for. You will be amazed at the fit and finish (actual chrome plating), and will never have to replace these wonderful rods. Just wow.

As you invest in new heads, head protector disks, and covers, get rid of those silly tee handles and have some modern drums. You won't regret it. I think a Yamaha timpani key is cheaper than Ludwig by the way.
