Percussion Studies Program

The following categories represent selected requirements for students in the Morehead State University Percussion Studies Program. Students entering the program should refer to the list of required implements and accessories, as well at the required method and text books that should be purchased during (or prior to) the first semester of study. With so many choices to make when investing in artist quality percussion gear, students may want to sample a variety of instruments and accessories from the faculty, staff, and their classmates to determine which brands and models will best serve their needs. You will of course acquire many additional mallets, instruments, accessories, and books over the course of study in the program.
