Fairfax High School Band

The following is the list of implements and equipment that will be required for the Fairfax High School Band program for the 2020-2021 school year. These items (or comparable, if already owned) are necessary for the continued development as individual percussionists in our online environment and our curriculum. When we return to in-person, they will become the foundation of a personal "stash" of equipment that enables individual artistic choice and creativity. While these items can be expensive, they will last for many years with proper care; it also parallels with the ongoing student costs for wind instruments, whose needs are smaller but more constant (reeds, oil, mouthpieces, ligatures, etc.).
