The following are lists of what students are expected to own in order to participate as a percussionist during their enrollment in the Southern Regional Music Program. This is designed for percussionists to gradually build their own personal inventory of sticks and mallets in order to be prepared to play a variety of percussion instruments. The group of items marked as optional may be purchased at any time during a student’s involvement in the program.
