Burritt-Marimba Quartet (SP)-4M - Product Information
Dedicated to Anders Åstrand, this new work was much talked about after its premiere by the Northwestern University Percussion Ensemble at PASIC 2003. All high-level collegiate programs should consider programming this on a percussion ensemble concert. Requires two 5 octave instruments and two 4.3 octave instruments. However, accommodations can be made to substitute a 4.6 for one of the 5.0's.

Mr. Burritt received his Bachelor and Master of Music Degrees, as well as the prestigious Performers Certificate from the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York. His teachers have included John Beck, Gordon Stout, Paul Yancich and Herbert Flower.
