This stand is lightweight, sturdy, and holds its position well. It's a tremendous value. I've paid $50 for flimsy stands and $150 for supposedly heavy-weight stands that don't hold their position. This is now my go-to stand.

Best Snare Stand!

This is the most versatile snare stand and it's at a great price. It is very stable and holds virtually any sized drum. I've mounted 14", 13", 12" and 10" snares in it and I also used it to mount an 8.5" Egyptian riq. It works perfectly with all of these. Currently I have a 12" Yamaha wood snare in it, with an LP Claw on either side. Both of these claws hold a cymbal stack. This snare stand holds it all with zero stability issues.
