Spiro is a good intro. Breaks down into demonstrating basic strokes, exercises and then a few basic patterns of Latin styles with the clave played by his son. I worked this for about a month. He is a good teacher and player. However; I got the 3 Volume Tomas Cruz Book w online video. Marvelosa!!! I did buy the Spiro Guidebook....half of that is more discussion with the rest int/adv exercises. Buy the Tomas Cruz at least first two volumes and then Richie or Poncho is good....Spiro Guidebook. I bought it all but that gives you a solid beg to early adv approach Bueno Suerte!!!
