Robertson (arr.)-Sacred Favorites-M - Product Information

Sacred Favorites includes arrangements of three of my favorite church hymns. Often times, marimbists have found themselves preparing to perform a recital at a church, not knowing what to play. Sure, we can always play Bach transcriptions, and we can play literature that is written for our instrument, and the audience will love it, but sometimes, nothing can grab a church audience more than a simple sacred hymn that they are familiar with. My goal in arranging these hymns is to provide marimbists with their own version of these hymns that go beyond the standard chorale form, but still contains the same original melodies.
