Pengling Bells consist of two large bells made of a high-tin bronze material without internal clappers and are shaped like a bottomless gourd (2 1/8" diameter opening). When playing these bells, the player, with one bell in each hand, strikes each other at their rims. It is a coloring rhythmic instrument, either in ensembles or in theater music, bringing an effect of peaceful dreams.

Middle of the Road

Comments:

These sound nice and brass, ring quite a bit, and will suit any general need for finger cymbals. The tuning of the bells is a little too "pretty," though, resonating much more pitch when I personally look for a degree of noise. Good, cheap, middle-of-the-road buy.
