Honestly, I didn't expect very much at this price point and for a big yellow drum. However, I have been pleasantly surprised by the quality and the sound of this friction drum. The question that's probably on everyone's mind is, "Is it worth the money?" The answer to that is - absolutely yes. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a professional grade cuica without hesitation.

Great cuica

I thought this cuica was a great purchase. I've been building up a collection auxiliary percussion instruments recently, and this one was a nice addition. I've already been getting some nice completents at gigs about the sound. The cuica itself is very lightweight, comes with a strap, and is easily tunable.
