This is Volume 3: Arpeggios - in Marc Chantereau's Technique Pianorimba - for Marimba and Vibraphone. This book contains a wealth of studies for keyboard percussion based on arpeggios to aid in movement and understanding of the keyboard, much like with the piano.
Marc Chantereau was born in 1947 in Paris. He obtained a First Prize for percussion at the Paris Conservatory in the class of Jacques Delécluse. He has collaborated on many phonographic recordings and film scores, has taken part in shows with famous jazz or music-hall artistes, and has appeared as a soloist with prestigious ensembles in the leading works of the contemporary repertory. The co-founder of a pop group, Voyage, in 1978 (nº 1 in the US hit parade in 1978 and 1979), Marc Chantereau has composed and orchestrated some 500 commercials and has received the Sacem Prize for Music in Commercials (1992).
