Spivack-Four Pieces for Vibraphone-V - Product Information
Four Pieces for Vibraphone is a favorite of composer Larry Spivack. The "Ragtime" movement was first composed in 1975 while Spivack was still in college. The rest of the pieces were composed while he was working on his masters degree at Julliard under the tutelage of Saul Goodman and Elden "Buster" Bailey. This 11 minutes collection of pieces is a showpiece for vibraphone virtuoso. This edition is a re-edited format (done by Larry Spivack), that he considers the "Urtext", which is much easier to read than the original engraving.
