Rounders by Michael Burritt was commissioned by the 2009 Paris International Marimba Compeition and its director Frederic Macarez. Burrritt's piece incorporates meter changes and rhythmic syncopations that really create the "thrill" of this piece. Rounder is a very exciting marimba solo (with percussion ensemble accompaniment - 3 players).
