Spencer-Almost 5 AM-M

Almost 5 AM by Julie Spencer was composed in the summer of 1987. Spencer describes her experience in composing the piece that during her time in Paris in the summer of 1987, she heard a chorus of birds singing outside the window of her apartment at almost 5 AM and what an experience of beauty and simplicity it was.
