White-Narrow is the Road...(2S)-1 or 2M

" Narrow is the Road is a piece I wrote during my studies at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. During my time in the Bay Area I would hear a lot of American minimalist music as well as other unique pop music-blends within the classical genre. With my interest in many styles, this piece reflects my exposure and experience in jazz, latin, and video game music. This piece was originally written for solo marimba. Although it's not impossible to play it for solo marimba, it is more do-able as a duet, and more fun! I think that is the key to this piece. When you perform any music, once you get the technique and practicing taken care of, it is most important to have fun when you play."
