Hello, Mr. Buzzbee by Jeffrey Parthun is designed to give the player practice in the skills needed to develop an excellent snare drum roll. The piece stresses the importance of developing a good buzz roll and the need to play with a steady rhythm. All the rolls in this solo use 8th note pulses. Flams and interesting dynamic changes also spice up the piece.
