Leonard-Two Meditations

In the first of Stanley Leonard's Two Meditations, titled Unity, the performer is invited to alternate improvised passages with prerecorded material (created by the performer). Parameters of dynamics and types of sound are specified by the composer. The second movement, Word Games, utilizes twenty cards each printed with a word such as Hate, Pride, Love, etc. The percussionist is required to play his response to each of these words.
