Inspirations Diabolique by Rickey (Rick) Tagawa is a mulit-percussion solo of medium-advanced difficulty. The piece is broken up into 5 movements - Introduction, Dance, Adagio - Tarantella, Cadenza, and Perpetual Motion. This is a very popular piece for senior recitals and juries because of its varied use of instruments and implements - Triangle beaters, wound mallets, snare drum sticks, and brushes.
