Valse Brilliante is part of the Master Work collection for solo marimba. The Master Works collection is a collection of ten Chopin numbers arranged for marimba and piano by Clair Omar Musser. In arranging these Chopin numbers as solos for the marimba, great care has been exercised to retain the true spirit of Chopin. The piano accompaniments have been transcribe with a fidelity to the meaning of the compositions.
