Boucourechliev-Archipel 3-EBKS-PN OS - Product Information
Archipel III is a "mobile" work, i.e. Changing in shape, character and duration at each performance. This mobility stems from the free combination of all structures of the piece, in all single scores as well as in the ensemble piano-percussion. The free combinations made by every single performer are based on constant, intensive mutua listening.

From his earliest childhood André Boucourechliev was, would be, a musician. Within a cultivated, music-loving family environment, his gifts were rapidly detected and encouraged. In 1946, at the age of 21, that he entered the Sofia Conservatory as a pianist, working with Andreï Stoïanov and Panka Pelischek, trained in Prague, whilst performing the mainstream repertory.
