Weiss 27" China Cymbal - Product Information

Weiss 27" china cymbal is often referred to as a Lion Cymbal, because of the distinctive shape, cylindrical bell (traditionally the cymbal's handle) and turned-up edges. Hand-made in Wuhan China this cymbal produces an explosive, trashy, and authentic sound. This is the largest china cymbal available and delivers a very huge sound with a range wide enough that it offers clarity as well.

GO BIG OR GO HOME

Comments:

I almost bought the 24 inch. It is nearly as big but $100 or so less. I went to order but they were out of stock. I just decided to bite the bullet and get it. If you look at the price of Wuhan, you get a lot for your money. These are priced better. It is a little cumbersome to transport due to size and dimension. I have a small kit and this cymbal about dwarfs it. The sound is powerful. It sounds like lightning striking next to you, and the metal shines like the sun. I had to widen the hole to fit my stand. Other than that, awesome purchase!

HUGE sound

Comments:

This thing sounds as massive as the dimensions suggest, and is surprisingly versatile for such a large, heavy cymbal. I absolutely BASHED on it for a show, to the point where my forearms were sore for days, and it seemed poised to handle the abuse for a long time to come. Thumbs up!

This thing is hilarious

Comments:

a 27" cymbal for $179? Heck yeah. It's loud and clear and brash and it's everything you'd expect a 27" china to be. It's also effing huge, so it's not going to fit in your cymbal bag.
