The success of Carlos Santana's award-winning CD Supernatural proves that his music is not only modern but timeless. In this video, Karl Perazzo and Raul Rekow showcase their special chemistry of applying traditional Afro-Cuban percussion rhythms and blending them into today's popular music. This program features an all-star band assembled specifically for this session performing songs from Supernatural recorded with new life, power, groove, and feel. Artists include Karl Perazzo, Raul Rekow, Benny Rietveld, and Tony Lindsay (Santana) along with Renato Neto, Jose Sibajo, and special guest Horacio "El Negro" Hernandez on drums. Rhythms and grooves from each of the songs are broken down into individual lessons, and all songs are taught and performed in their entirety. Specially recorded groove loop vamps are included on an exclusive play-a-long accompanying CD.
