Congratulations! You are now ready to begin the study of two of the most popular hand percussion instruments in the world...the conga and bongo drums! This exciting instructional video will introduce you to all of the basic techniques and skills needed in order for you to begin playing conga and bongo drums today!
Your instructor is Jurgen Lottmann. Jurgen received his professional education on the congas, bongos, timbales and other effects instruments from the renowned Ralph Moufang Percussion School in Darmastadt, Germany, where he graduated in 1982. From 1983 until present, Jurgen has applied his percussion playing talents as a studio recording and touring musician throughout Europe and the United States. He has also conducted conga and bongo workshops at the University of Arkansas.
