Iat Gourd Combination - Huiro, Maraca (0798G) - Product Information
The IAT 0798G Regular Gourd Huiro (or Guiro) measures approx 14 ~ 23" in total length and has a diameter of approx 2 ~ 3"......due to the natural aspect of these instruments, measurements vary slightly. This authentic Huiro is made of a natural gourd with grooves cut into the top to produce the Huiro sound.
This version does not have finger holes cut in as it is a fully enclosed gourd that also contains pellets inside to produce the shaker sound as well as being able to act as a short duration rain stick. A metal scraper is included with this Huiro.
