The Gibraltar 9608M Throne makes your seat the best in the house. The Moto Style seat puts less stress on your legs and gives you more mobility for your playing. Too often a throne is an after thought. Until they start spending long rehearsals on an uncomfortable throne, most people don't realize how much they need a quality throne. The 9608M adjusts from 20 to 28 inches

Very comfortable and stable. If you are looking to get this and add a backrest later, don't. The baseplate on this throne doesn't have the compatibility to add a backrest. You'd have to order a replacement baseplate. The throne itself however is a great product. It's very soft and comfortable and most importantly IT DOESN'T WOBBLE. Its very annoying to play on a wobbly throne for so long. The corkscrew style locking will not slip. The only downside is that the throne top doesn't fit inside my hardware bag, but it's design allows me to easily put it between the top handles and not have to worry about it slipping out.
