A Christmas Overture by Alex Orfaly is a joyful medley of Christmas carols arranged for a large percussion ensemble. This piece features six personal impressions of traditional Christmas carols. "O Christmas Tree," "Little Drummer Boy," "We Wish You a Merry Christmas" (a la Mexico), "Silent Night," "Carol on the Bells," and "The Twelve Days of Christmas."
