Frette/Patagonia Percussion Ensemble - Musica Argentina para Percussion (CD)

The Patagonia Cultural Foundation Percussion Ensemble was established in 1999, with teachers and students of the class of Patagonian Percussion Institute of Arts (IUPA), General Roca, Rio Black. Since then they have made numerous presentations on scenarios of the most important cities of the provinces of Black River and Neuquén.

They have participated and given concerts with prominent international figures at the International Festival of Percussion, an event in General Roca since 2003. The same, unique in its kind, is organized by Cultural Foundation Patagonia. In this context, the group took part in clinics and master classes, and performed with great figures of world percussion such as Victor Mendoza, William Moersch, Rebecca Kite, Naoko Takada, etc., achieving a high level of interpretation.

In 2002 they made two appearances at the Teatro Colon in Buenos Aires. In November 2005, along with the String Quartet Patagonia Cultural Foundation, was presented at the National Library of Buenos Aires as part of the series "Music Plural." They also appeared in the Oriental Republic of Uruguay. In 2005 the Ensemble recorded its this - their first CD, "Music for Percussion Argentina" under the direction of Angel Frette.
