Pablo Bagilet's solo for vibraphone and tam-tam, Baires (in three images) will take you back to the composer's childhood in Santa Fe, Argentina. Bagilet spent most of his life in Argentina and this suite is infused with the bright melodies and lively rhythms of his home country. This is an excellent virtuosic work and is written in a marimba-esque style with quick permutations. Run time is approximately 4 minutes.
