Beetle Percussion Sleigh Bells - Product Information
Beetle Percussion Sleigh Bells have 35 1.25" steel bells tuned to E flat. Beetle paid attention to the performer's needs when creating the Sleigh Bell. Starting with a large hand turned handle that sits comfortably in the performer's hands. The Sleigh Bell's playing surfaces are large and beveled. Both the top and bottom surfaces are covered in Beetle's recycled tire rubber. This creates a non-slip playing surface and also the ability to lift and set down the bells silently. This is a great feature for performers.
The Sound Produced by the Beetle Sleigh Bells will have a short crisp attack with a short decay. The bell rivets have a foam tab on the back of them to control vibration and to keep the bells taught for articulation. These are great sleigh bells that feel well balanced, have a rich tone, playability. The wood used has a classy rustic look.
Beetle Percussion uses wood from trees killed by the beetle infestation in North America. The use of this re-purposed wood helps reduce forest fire damage by removal of dead wood (fire fuel). CO2 consuming live vegetation replaces the dead carbon producing wood. The rubber used in Beetle Percussion products is recycled tire rubber reducing landfill volume. All Beetle products are hand made in the USA.
