Ukena-Blue Wood

Blue Wood by Todd Ukena is a four mallet solo scored for 4.3 octave marimba. This Gershwin inspired piece features mandolin rolls, double vertical strokes and independent mallet work and gives advancing students the opportunity to improve on four mallet technique and quick alterations of duple to triplet figures.
