Bobo-Three Rings (SP)-M/Steel dr.

Three Rings is a three-movement work based on the attractions one would find at a common circus. The first movement is highly energetic with the marimba shadowing the steel pan before erupting in a violent duo of perfect fifths and angular melodic lines. The second movement is a triumphant march with various contrasting sections. The third movement displays several acrobatic melodies on both instruments revolving mainly between flowing lyrical lines and those that are more comical.
