Comments:

I have the earlier publication. (1942) Henry Adler advises students to engage a good teacher. It was under later tuition that I learned to apply the correct sequence of Full, Down, Tap and Upstrokes to the numerous rudimental exercises with the accents. Not having studied the later edition I am not certain if that issue has been addressed. However, if the earlier edition is anything to go by it is fundamental must for any drummers aspiring to play properly. Its a foundation text and provides a life time of work to master.
