Cenas Brasileiras No.1 and 2 by Ney Rosauro is split into two movements - Baião and Samba. These are two very enjoyable pieces that introduce some of the main Brazilian rhythms for beginners. The percussion part can be played by several players.
I) Baiao – After samba, the baiao is the most popular rhythm played in Brazil. It is performed by a trio consisting in accordion, bass drum and triangle.
