Advanced Duets for Snare Drum Volume II by Peter Coutsouridis is a unique collection of snare drum duets features a wide variety of imaginative explorations in rhythm and meter. The pieces employ varied compositional techniques and present exciting challenges for friends and colleagues to work through and perform together. All three volumes incorporate a large palette of colorful sounds using traditional rudiments, extended techniques, and improvisation. They are meant to be studied carefully and performed, but most importantly they are meant to be inspiring and fun. The three volumes are conceived as one work but each volume is sold separately.
