Di Bartolo-Improvisation Etudes vol. 1 - Product Information
In 2016 I started composing some partially-written pieces or improv etudes to find a way to give musicians a creative space to perform in. Since then I've been fortunate to have worked on these with my colleagues in the music industry and students ranging from middle schoolers to doctoral candidates.
Designed for any instrument or ensemble, Improvisation Etudes vol. 1 provides 10 partial compositions to improvise within and gain experience playing both on and off the page. The skills learned through improvising can be applied to chamber music, solo/ensemble playing and boost general musicianship.
