Dining Room Music by Rupert Kettle for four percussionists and tableware. This piece was inspired by John Cage's Living Room Music. The composer explains, "This piece uses Cage's rhythmic structures, but in reverse order... The talking movement here is a rebuttal to the Gertrude Stein text used by Cage and was written by a distant relative of Gertrude's, Phyllis Stein."
