Dragonfly Percussion Cynthia Yeh Heavy Soft Signature Bass Drum Mallet features a heavyweight mallet head with A soft puffy covering delivering focused tight sound. Identical to the CYHG but with a super soft fuzzy fleece covering. Big, warm sound with very little attack.
Dragonfly Percussion has collaborated with Chicago Symphony Principal Percussionist Cynthia Yeh to create a totally original set of concert bass drum mallets. All her mallets are on aluminum handles, some are solid and heavy, the others are hollow and light. The small 3/4" diameter and the foam grip make these mallets incredibly comfortable in the hand and give the player easy control of the even the largest, heaviest models. The combination of synthetic suede, standard fleece and super soft fleece give this set a wide range of timbres and hardness. With this set, you've got all your bass drum repertoire covered.
