The Dynasty Wedge Marching Snare Drum is a lightweight alternative to standard marching snare drums. Weighing in at 9.9 pounds, the Wedge is perfect when weight counts and packs a punchy snare sound from its top-head snare mechanism.

Ideal for parades, small bands, Shriner's, Police and Firemen's bands, or younger students needing a lighter drum.

Nice lighter weight option

I appreciate Dynasty for thinking outside of the box with this snare drum. It's significantly lighter than a full size snare, but not exactly light weight at 9 pounds. While it looks futuristic and can be played with any high tension kevlar head desired it also can be used with mylar heads if you prefer that sound. The downside is that the drum does not project quite as well as a full sized drum. But for a line with small kids, seniors, and others seeking a lighter weight option the Wedge is a flexible marching snare drum option suitable for HS, indoor, Alumni drum and bugle corps, pipe bands, etc.

Perfectly Sized and Weight

Great marching snare for my 7yr old who is in the Boss Drummers Drumline. The weight of the snare was perfect for him to march with!

Comments:

Ideal to have a set of 3 or 4 for middle school pep rallies and games! Much less weight and just as fun to play!!
