Encore 412B Unwound Series 1 1/8" Medium Rubber Birch Mallets - Product Information
Encore 412B Mallets feature 1 1/8" Medium Rubber Heads and Birch Handles. Rubber mallets are ideal for creating a traditional Guatamalan sound on marimba, as well as for acheiving an articulate but not-too-harsh sound on woodblock, temple block, and log drum.
The diversity of the materials and high quality construction of the Encore Unwound Series provides percussionists with many sound options for musical expression on xylophone, bells, marimba, and auxiliary percussion. Put together by the hands of skilled Encore Malletsmiths, the mallet heads of this series are made of nine different materials, including extra hard PVC, hard acetal, polyethylene, and numerious types of rubbers.
