Nielsen-Etude Classique-SD - Product Information
Etude Classique by Einar Nielsen for solo snare drum. This piece was composed in 1978 and has been played widely in Scandinavia at concerts and auditions. Using short excerpts from orchestral repertoire, this piece demonstrates many different styles of playing including a quick samba, a waltz, and different marches. The small excerpts are from Rimsky-Korsakov's Sheherazade, Alexander Borodin's Polovtsian Dances and Sergei Prokofiev's Peter and the Wolf.
