Good concept, but...

Comments:

The concept for this drum key is that whatever number (preferred tension) you set it at, the key "clicks" when it reaches that tension on a lug, thus ensuring that every time you tighten a lug it will let you know when it's at the right tension. HOWEVER, it doesn't work. I experimented with it to see if was truly EVENLY tuning my lugs. I set the dial to tension 1, then set the dial to tension 2, so in theory, each lug should have to be turned the same amount to get the tension #2 right? But it didn't end up that way, for some lugs after half a turn it said I was at tension #2 and for others it took several turns. Overall, good concept, but it doesn't work. Is a good normal drum key though.
