A thorough and tactical drumline guide

Comments:

I've been away from teaching marching percussion for a long time and this book was a great refresher. Lots of great stuff here: changing heads and tuning, changing cymbal straps (the right way), rehearsal recommendations, warm up exercises, a few cadences, and a lot more. A thorough and tactical guide for band directors, drumline instructors, and drum techs. And, as always, top notch shipping -- arrived just in time before I trip I took. Thanks, Steve Weiss!

Field Level

Comments:

Really well written book that lays out how to organize and run your percussion section. Not a lot for a percussion instructorbalready running a program, but a great asset for new instructors and non-percussion band directors who want their percussion sections to contribute in a meaning full way to their program as well as a their students development.
