Floyd (arr.)-Were You There?-Tenor steel pan

Four-mallet playing is something not usually associated with steel drum performance. However, this arrangement of the popular traditional spiritual "Were You There" makes use of this technique which is normally associated with keyboard percussion performance. The performer may utilize a modified version of the Stevens marimba grip when performing this piece, which creates a thicker texture than a traditional two mallet performance.
